Privacy Policy
Beta draft updated July 19, 2026
Cosmory is designed around artist ownership, public pages, official links, and measured discovery. This beta policy explains the intended privacy model before paid and uploaded-preview features launch.
Information artists provide
Artist applications and Studio pages may include names, email addresses, artist names, bios, images, platform links, facts, domain requests, and content metadata.
Public artist pages
Published artist pages are public. This includes artist identity, story, facts, official links, images, releases, and other material chosen for publication.
Analytics approach
Cosmory uses privacy-conscious aggregate analytics where possible: page views, featured-preview clicks, player events, and outbound service clicks. The goal is useful artist insight without raw visitor event logs.
Player analytics
The featured player may count events such as preview started, completed, and continued to an official service. These are intended as daily aggregates, not public popularity counters.
Third-party services
Links and embeds may connect visitors to Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Instagram, Google, Firebase, and other providers. Those providers may process data under their own policies.
Artist-supplied tracking
Cosmory should not allow arbitrary third-party scripts on shared artist pages. Future Google Analytics IDs should be validated, consent-aware, and preferably limited to Studio/custom-domain pages.
Listener libraries
Listeners may create Google or email accounts to privately save artists, releases, playlists, books, videos, stories, art, and other public Cosmory resources. Artists receive anonymous aggregate save totals only; they cannot see a listener name, email, or saved library.
Account and access
Google and email sign-in may be used for listener, artist, and admin access. Access records connect an email address to approved artist pages and permissions.
Deletion and corrections
Artists should be able to request correction, export, or deletion of their account and page data, subject to operational, legal, and security limits.
Security and access control
Artist Studio and platform admin access should be permission-gated. Access can be revoked for security, abuse, rights, or ownership concerns.
Retention
Cosmory should keep account, application, analytics, and operational records only as long as useful for beta operations, security, legal compliance, and product improvement.
